“The 14th International Conference of Panel Study on Korean Children“ was held on the 1st of November, 2019. The first session of the conference covered the introduction of the Korean Children's Panel and keynote speeches. Dr. Thomas Moser (University of South-Eastern Norway) and Dr. Professor Corinna Kleinert (Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) in Germany) were invited as the keynote speakers. Dr. Thomas Moser delivered a presentation on 'What can we learn from Norwegian studies on long-term effects of ECEC?', and Dr. Professor Corinna Kleinert introduced ‘The German National educational Panel study (NEPS)’. The presentations delivered in the second half of the conference were divided into three sections: parenting, school adjustments, and children’s well-being. Prof. Nari Shin (Chungbuk University), Myung-Lim Jang (Research Director, Korean Educational Development Institute), and Hye-Jin Kwon (Threadlet University) were invited as the chairs to moderate each section.
