Holding the 2^nd KICCE Special Forum on Child Care and Education Integration

At the “2^nd KICCE Special Forum on Child Care and Education Integration” held on May 2, 2022 (Mon), Senior Research Fellow Kim, Eunyoung and Senior Research Fellow Kang, Eun Jin of KICCE gave presentations on the topic of “Issues Regarding Qualifications of Child Care and Education Teachers and Integration of Training System.” Following the topic presentations, presidents of child care and education studies (President Jung, Jung-Hee of the Korean Society for Early Childhood Education and President Lee, Wan Jeong of the Korean Association of Child Studies), child care and education experts from academia (Prof. Lee, Sungui of Kongju National University and Prof. Kang, Jeong Won of Korean Bible University), and President Lee, Kyungmi of the Korean Association of Public Kindergarten Teachers participated in the discussion. This forum was live-streamed on YouTube, and those who did not join the forum could provide their opinions. This forum was held to provide opportunities for participants to share the results of previous discussions on childcare and education integration and make further developments on major issues. Based on the results and opinions collected through this forum, KICCE will make more efforts to develop advanced measure to integrate childcare and education.
