VI

The visual identity (VI) of the Panel Study on Korean Chidren (PSKC) is the figure of a child, the subject of the PSKC.

The puzzle-shape also embodies building bridges of connection between generation, between the present and the future, and between the reality and the policies based on statistical data from the basic study.

The blue color used in VI represent the healthy life and infinite dreams for the future of young children, mataphorically expressing the purposes and methods that PSKC purposes. The multiple colors of light green, green, purple, orange, and pink on the end of the vowels and one consonant of VI signify that changes in child-rearing environments will occur, reflectiong the PSKC data from follow-up surveys on the children form their birth.

SYMBOL

The transparent light blue symbol denotes a window, whrere a look at the diffrences in child growth and development will be taken depending on the child's own characteristics, relationships with parents, siblings, primary caregiver, and peer, and experiences in child care and education services.
