육아정책연구소와 한국다문화교육학회는 2022년 5월 20일(금) 오후 3시, 2022년 한국다문화교육학회 국제학술대회에서 KICCE Panel Session을 공동으로 구성하여 비대면으로 개최하였다.

본 학술대회에서는 박상희 소장의 환영사를 시작으로 호주의 Joce Nuttall 교수(Australian Catholic University)가 ‘Policies and practice to support cultural and linguistic diversity in early childhood education in Australia’에 대한 발표를, 일본의 Yuko Hayashi 교수(Kobe Shoin Women's University)가 ‘The current situation of ECEC for children from diverse cultural backgrounds in Japan: From the perspective of children's language development’에 대한 발표를, 마지막으로 육아정책연구소 박은정 부연구위원과 문무경 선임연구위원은 ‘Policy measures to empower multicultural parents in supporting their young children's bilingual education’을 주제로 발표하였다.

토론자로 Kevin Kien Hoa Chung 교수(The Education University of Hong Kong), Chunghee Chung 교수(Kyungpook National University)가 참여하여 각국의 다문화 교육에 대한 논의를 진행하였다.
