On Friday, April 11, 2025, the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) held a meeting with the executive members of the Korean Association of Childcare & Education at the KICCE main conference room in Jung-gu, Seoul. The meeting aimed to discuss key research issues related to child care policy and explore avenues for future collaboration.

Participants from the Korean Association of ChildCare & Education included President Jinwook Kim, Vice President Yoon Seung Shin, Director of Planning Ki-Nam Kwon, Director of Academic Affairs Jihyun Sung, Director of Research Young-Kyung Moon, and Director of Education Yumi Kim. From KICCE, President Ock Kyeung Hwang, Director General of Planning and Coordination Yunjin Lee, Director of Low Fertility Policy Research Eunseol Kim, and Director of Research Planning and Evaluation Jayeun Kim attended the meeting.

During the discussion, the two organizations shared ideas on the future research direction of KICCE and the role of national research institutes. Both sides agreed to promote active cooperation in future policy research initiatives.
