Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) hosted the Spring Conference of the Korean Society for Early Childhood Education (KSECE) on March 25, 2023, in collaboration with Korean National Commission for UNESCO and KSECE on the topic of "The Reality and Future Tasks of Sustainable Development Education for Young Children". In the same way as last year, Korean National Commission for UNESCO, responsible for the Sustainable Development Goals in Korean Education (SDG4-Education 2030) and acting as a consultative body, as well as KICCE, responsible for the Detail Goals for Sustainable Development in Infants and Young Children Sector (SDG4.2) and acting as a working group, collaborated with KSECE this year. Moon Moo-Kyung, head of KICCE, chaired the session “The Reality and Future Tasks of Sustainable Development Education for Young Children”, which included presentations of four papers and discussions led by Lee Jae-Hee, a researcher at KICCE, and Seo Ki-Joon, a senior programme specialist at Korean National Commission for UNESCO.
